How to set them up safely
- Start read-only. Supabase has a read-only mode; Mercury and Puzzle read by default. Add write access only where it saves you real time.
- Scope the keys. Stripe restricted keys and single-project access in Supabase keep a mistake small.
- Keep a human on money. Mercury already requires approval for payments; do the same for refunds and invoices.
