Backend skills

10 Backend skills, most installed first. I read every file in each one to see what it can access, and show the security audits from skills.sh. See all skills.

Best for Solo founders who let a coding agent handle their database, payments and email

This page lists the Agent Skills I filed under backend work: databases, deploys, payments and email. Each one is a SKILL.md folder your coding agent loads when the task calls for it. I read every skill file by file to rate its access (Low, Medium or High), meaning what it can touch on your machine and accounts, and each page shows the skills.sh security audits.

Start with Postgres Best Practices, the most installed skill here and the only one with Low access. It gives wrong and right SQL for schema, indexes, RLS and query tuning, and it works for any Postgres project.

If you take payments or send email, add Stripe Best Practices for Stripe's own integration rules and Resend for sending and receiving mail with webhook signature checks.

What is the difference between Superpowers and Ponytail?

Superpowers makes the agent go through brainstorm, spec, plan and subagent-driven TDD instead of vibe coding. Ponytail pushes the agent toward the smallest change that fully solves the task and ends replies with what it skipped and any risk. Both are MIT licensed and have Medium access.
