Turn SVG art into calm, lifelike 60 fps animation in React Native and SwiftUI
About
A skill by ROSS (@rossark0) that teaches an agent to animate illustrations, icons, mascots and whole scenes so they feel alive instead of jumping between poses. It covers principles like one shared clock, real pivots, follow-through, idle motion and small amplitudes, plus recipes for faces, full-body acting, plants, fire, water, weather, logos, charts and interface motion. It ships a small motion engine and live face templates for React Native (react-native-svg + Reanimated) and SwiftUI (TimelineView + Canvas), ffmpeg tools that measure a reference video frame by frame, and demo scenes with an offline renderer to MP4. A MOTION.md notes file keeps project rules in one place. Found via the launch post on X: https://x.com/rossark0/status/2113149312163045837

Access
MediumWhat this skill's own files let it touch on your machine and accounts. Access isn't a verdict: check the publisher and the security audits too.
- Bundles scripts
- Runs shell commands
- Writes files in your project
- No network access
- No credentials needed
Instruction-led skill with small bundled helpers: a bash contact sheet script and two Python scripts (standard library only) that call ffmpeg and ffprobe on a local video. No network calls and no credentials in the scripts. The agent copies MOTION.md and the templates into your project and edits animation code there.
