About

Credential vault for agent payments and logins, by Self

Agent Vault (by Self) lets agents check out and sign in without ever holding real secrets. Agents receive mock tokens of the same shape as card numbers or credentials; a trusted proxy and confidential-compute enclave look up the real values and type them into the form at submit time. Per-card caps (daily, weekly, monthly, per-transaction), optional merchant allowlists, isolated browser sessions, and an immediate kill switch are built in. Drop-in Playwright import (`@agentvault/playwright`) works with Claude, Codex, Grokbot and other agent stacks. Cards are tokenized to Basis Theory (PCI-DSS Level 1).

Features

  • Mock tokens in the agent; real card/password only in enclave
  • Per-card spend caps and merchant allowlists
  • Kill switch revokes access immediately
  • Isolated browser sessions (no cookie/storage crossover)
  • Playwright drop-in SDK
  • PCI-DSS Level 1 vault via Basis Theory
