OpenBot

Desktop app that runs your coding agents as a persistent team

OpenBot preview

About

OpenBot is by Nightly Labs, with around 3,000 stars on GitHub. It is source available under the PolyForm Noncommercial license and is still a developer preview, so agents run with full access to your machine.

## What it does Instead of one chat per agent, OpenBot keeps a team of agents running on your computer with the plans you already pay for, or your own model. Agents connect over ACP, each has its own workspace and FIFO queue, and they can hand work to each other. There is an embedded browser, computer use, and a headless install for a Linux server or Docker. ## Install Download the desktop app from openbot.run, or follow the Linux server and Docker guide in the repo. Treat it like giving agents full access to the machine it runs on.
