Open source agentic video production system that runs inside your coding agent

About
Clone github.com/calesthio/OpenMontage, run make setup (or the manual venv, pip and npm steps in the README), open the folder in your coding agent and ask for a video. Every API key is optional: FAL, Kling, ElevenLabs and others unlock generated clips and voices, while Piper TTS plus Archive.org, NASA, Wikimedia Commons, Pexels and Pixabay cover a free path that cuts real footage instead of animating stills. The README shows a 60 second animated short made for $1.33 in API costs. Things to know: it needs Python, Node and FFmpeg locally, and AGPL-3.0 applies if you offer it as a service.
