I like Font Designer because it turns a fun idea into an actual file you can install. The bot gives you printable sheets, you fill in one character per box with a dark pen, take a photo of each page from above, and send them back.
From there it finds every box, cleans up each character, traces smooth outlines, lines everything up on one baseline and sets the spacing. You get an OTF and a TTF covering letters, numbers, punctuation and a few extras like a heart and a box for your logo, plus a preview sheet before you install.
It was made by Jenny Marquis (FQL), and it runs fully offline on the bot's own computer with open source tools: no logins, no connectors, nothing sent anywhere.

What font files does Font Designer make?
An OpenType (.otf) and a TrueType (.ttf) file, plus a preview sheet showing every character. Installing the OTF is recommended.
Which characters are included?
A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9, all keyboard punctuation and extras like an ellipsis, bullet, degree sign, currency signs, copyright and a heart, plus a logo box that types with the ¤ key.
Does it need any accounts or internet access?
No. It works only on the photos you send, using open source tools on its own computer, and never logs in or sends anything.
