Cloudbrowser
Persistent cloud Chrome for AI agents, with saved logins, forks and live view

Headless browser built from scratch for AI agents and automation, with a native MCP server

About
Install with curl -fsSL https://pkg.lightpanda.io/install.sh | bash (or Homebrew, or the Docker image that exposes CDP on port 9222). For MCP, add the binary with the argument mcp to your client config, or run lightpanda mcp --port 9223 to serve several agents from one process with separate sessions. Things to know: there is no rendering, so it is not a fit for tasks that need screenshots of styled pages or visual clicking; there is no native Windows binary, use WSL; an agent skill lives in lightpanda-io/agent-skill.

I compare five ways to give an AI agent a browser, from local Chrome over MCP to hosted cloud browsers, with real install commands and pricing.
The APIs and cloud browsers that let an agent search, read and use the live web, compared on what they return, how they bill and how to plug them in.
Give Claude Code hands in the iOS Simulator or an Android emulator so it checks its own UI changes. Five MCP tools, real setup commands, honest tradeoffs.
