Best Claude Code Marketing Skills (2026)
The Claude Code marketing skills I install first (SEO audit, copywriting, pricing) and three MCP tools that give them real SEO data.
By agentools
- OpenSEO: Keyword and ranking data for SEO skills
- Sitelemetry: Audit evidence for the SEO Audit skill
- Arvow: Done for you SEO content
Ask Claude Code to write a landing page or plan your SEO and you get copy that reads fine and could describe any product. It has no method for the job and no data about your site, your keywords or your buyers, so it fills the gap with averages.
I run agentools.sh on my own, and I'm working on its SEO right now. Google started showing the site in search results in late October 2026.
A skill is a folder of instructions that Claude Code loads when a task matches, so the agent follows a tested method for that job.
This guide has two layers. Claude Code marketing skills supply the method: how to audit, write copy and price. MCP tools supply the data: keywords, rankings, audit findings, published posts. First come the three tools, then the skills, then how I would set it up and what none of it will do.

The 3 picks

1. OpenSEO
Open source Semrush and Ahrefs alternative with a native MCP server and agent skills
OpenSEO is an open source (MIT) alternative to Semrush and Ahrefs by Ben Senescu. The repo, every-app/open-seo, has about 25k stars. Its data comes from DataForSEO, paid per request.
The MCP covers keyword research, SERP inspection, local research, domain research, backlink overview, rank tracking, and Google Search Console performance and URL inspection. The marketing skills give the agent method, and OpenSEO gives it real keyword and ranking data instead of guesses. The SEO Audit skill knows the fastest wins are usually pages in positions 8 to 20, and OpenSEO can tell it which pages those are.
The Claude Code plugin bundles the MCP with twelve SEO skills, run as /openseo:keyword-research and so on. Inside Claude Code:
/plugin marketplace add every-app/open-seo
/plugin install openseo@openseo
For the MCP only, run this and then approve the login:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user openseo https://app.openseo.so/mcp
The caveat: you pay for every DataForSEO request, so heavy keyword sessions add up.
Pricing: self-hosting is free with your own DataForSEO key (Docker or Cloudflare). The hosted version charges 28% on top of each DataForSEO request, with an optional $10/month supporter subscription.
Pricing: Free self-host, pay per useSEO platform + MCP server
2. Sitelemetry
A remote MCP server that audits any website for security, SEO, AI visibility and more
Sitelemetry is a remote MCP server that audits a website. It has seven read only tools: security, technical SEO, AI visibility, accessibility, performance, analytics and integrations, plus a full audit of all six areas in one call. Each finding comes with severity, evidence and a fix. There are zero write or delete tools, and sign in is OAuth, so no API key sits in your config.
It pairs with the SEO Audit skill: the skill is the method, Sitelemetry is the evidence.
claude mcp add --transport http sitelemetry https://sitelemetry.com/mcp
The caveat: SEO and AI visibility checks read static HTML only, with no JavaScript rendering. The AI visibility score measures readiness and does not track real AI mentions. The full audit needs site verification.
Pricing: the Free plan covers security checks only (10 scans a month). All six areas start at $49/month on Starter.
Pricing: Free plan, paid from $49/moRemote MCP server (OAuth)

3. Arvow
AI SEO agents that research, write and auto-publish to your blog
Arvow is a paid AI SEO content platform, formerly Journalist AI. AutoBlog drafts and publishes articles to WordPress, Shopify, Ghost, Wix, Webflow and Blogger. Its SEO agent fixes schema, meta titles, alt text and internal links.
This is the done for you option next to the DIY skills. Its MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor schedule posts and pull Search Console numbers.
There is no install command. You connect it from the MCP page in your Arvow organization settings. MCP and API are included from the Solo plan.
The caveat: treat it as a first draft engine and keep a human review before posts go live.
Pricing: from $39/month (Solo), Business at $69. It is credit based, 15 credits per article, with three free articles to try.
Pricing: From $39/moAI SEO agent
The three marketing skills I install first
All three come from Corey Haines' repo coreyhaines31/marketingskills: MIT, about 56.6k GitHub stars, around 50 marketing skills. They work with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and any agent that follows the Agent Skills spec.
SEO Audit (about 229k installs on skills.sh) runs a prioritized audit: crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, on-page tags, content quality and local SEO. It points you at pages already ranking in positions 8 to 20. It also warns that web_fetch and curl cannot see JSON-LD schema injected by JavaScript (Yoast, RankMath, AIOSEO), so "no schema found" from a plain fetch is a false finding. Check with Google's Rich Results Test or a rendering crawler. Fetched pages are treated as untrusted data, which guards against prompt injection.
Copywriting (about 225k installs) writes landing, pricing, feature and homepage copy around one primary action. It first checks what you gave it: a blank brief, a draft in your real voice (it keeps your argument and vocabulary) or a point edit. Then it changes only what is needed. Its "No AI Tells" section bans patterns like "it's not X, it's Y" reveals. It never invents stats, customers or results, and when it declines a claim it names the evidence that would unlock it.
Pricing Strategy (skill id pricing, about 74k installs) covers value metric, tiers, free plan versus trial, price points and Van Westendorp research. For a new product it treats the first price as a bet: pick a number, ship, let buyers tell you. It also audits pricing pages, including whether AI agents can read your plans and prices.
Install all three at once:
npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills --skill seo-audit copywriting pricing
A tip from the README: if you run this from inside an agent session, the CLI runs non-interactively and may install only to .agents/skills/, which Claude Code does not read. Pass -a claude-code so it installs into .claude/skills/.
Then set up the product marketing context. The product-marketing skill is the foundation: SEO Audit, Copywriting and Pricing read .agents/product-marketing.md (or .claude/product-marketing.md) first if it exists and only ask for what is missing. Write it once.
Two more worth adding
Newsjack by Elvis Sun is a set of 31 MIT-licensed PR skills. /newsjack-detector finds fresh stories you have standing to jump on, /meanest-editor roasts your pitch, and /fact-check and /journalist-fit-check cover the rest. The skills never send pitches. You do.
npx skills add elvisun/newsjack
That installs the skills only. The alternative, curl -fsSL newsjack.sh | bash, installs a CLI that auto updates before each run (NEWSJACK_AUTO_UPDATE=0 disables it), so review install.sh first. Live news search uses the Medialyst API after newsjack login with a free account.
PostHog Product Analytics is the official PostHog plugin. It picks 10 to 15 high value files and adds capture calls for conversion and churn events, identification, server side events and error tracking. The copy and pricing skills give you changes to ship, and this gives you events to judge them by.
claude plugin install posthog
Then run /mcp in Claude Code and select plugin:posthog:posthog to authenticate. It edits app code and env files and handles your PostHog token, so run it on a branch.
How I would set it up
- Install SEO Audit, Copywriting and Pricing Strategy with the one command, adding
-a claude-codeinside an agent session. - Write the product marketing context file before anything else.
- Connect OpenSEO and Sitelemetry, run SEO Audit, and start with pages in positions 8 to 20.
- Rework the homepage and pricing page with Copywriting and Pricing Strategy. Pick a price and ship it.
- Instrument the app with the PostHog skill on a branch.
- Add Newsjack when you have something to pitch, and Arvow if you would rather pay for drafts.
For competitor research, I like the competitor intel bot idea. A Grok Bot uses its own computer and email to pull competitors' winning ads, top SEO pages, backlinks, keywords, onboarding flows and complaints, with sources cited. That output is good material for the product marketing file.
What these skills will not do
- They bring no data on their own. SEO Audit fetches your live pages, but rankings and search volumes need a tool like OpenSEO.
- Plain fetches miss JavaScript. Injected JSON-LD is invisible to web_fetch and curl, and Sitelemetry's SEO checks read static HTML only.
- Sitelemetry's AI visibility score measures readiness. It does not tell you whether AI assistants mention you.
- Copywriting declines claims you cannot support, so specific copy needs real evidence first.
- Pricing Strategy helps you place a first bet. Buyers decide if it was right.
- Newsjack never sends pitches, and Arvow drafts need a human read before they go live.
- The PostHog skill changes your code. Review the diff.
These marketing skills for Claude Code give the agent a method, and the tools give it facts. You still decide what ships.
