Context Mode's free Engine is a local plugin (sandbox plus index) that works through MCP and hooks in 18 AI coding tools. It sandboxes tool output so only the answer reaches the model, persists session memory and facts, loads skills when a task needs them, makes every prompt and command searchable, and resumes sessions on another machine.
