One small MCP server for most SQL databases
Run npx @bytebase/dbhub@latest --transport http --port 8080 --dsn "postgres://user:pass@localhost:5432/db" or use stdio, Docker, the one click MCP Bundle (read only) or the Claude Code plugin. A TOML file can define several databases and custom parameterized tools. It also ships a local workbench UI for running queries and seeing what the agent did. Things to know: point it at a read only user or turn on read only mode for production data.
