Kilobat

Mac network monitor that logs and blocks what your coding agents connect to, with an MCP server

Kilobat preview

About

See and limit where your coding agent's commands reach

Install the free CLI with `brew install seifip/kilobat/kilobat`, then add the local MCP server with `claude mcp add kilobat -- kilobat mcp`. Hook it into Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or Cline with `kilobat agent-event` to tell agent runs apart per project. Things to know: macOS 14 or later only. The CLI and every MCP tool are free; the agent network log and malware blocking need Pro. Threat lists (HaGeZi, URLhaus) are downloaded to the Mac and checks run locally.

Features

  • Agent network log: every host an agent and its child processes contacted, per session
  • Blocks known malware, phishing and scam hosts in every app, naming the app and agent
  • Agent guard: no paste sites, tunnels, raw IPs or large uploads to new hosts
  • Local MCP server with check_host_reputation, diagnostics and usage tools
  • Keeps the Mac awake while an agent works and notifies when it finishes
  • Nine agent skills for network troubleshooting via npx skills add
