About

Open-source, local-first multi-agent desktop app

Orkas (MIT, macOS and Windows, Linux from source) is a desktop workspace where a Commander agent turns a goal into a plan and hands each stage to specialist agents such as DeepResearcher, ContentWriter, OfficeWorker, PptMaker, ImageStudio and VideoStudio. It can also drive your installed coding CLIs (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, OpenClaw, Hermes) as local sessions. Recurring jobs run on a schedule, like a Monday team update built from last week's tasks and notes. Chats, files and encrypted keys stay on your machine; use Orkas-managed models with credits or connect your own provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, Kimi, GLM, OpenRouter). It supports MCP connectors, reusable agents and skills, memory, and asks for confirmation before risky or costly actions. Repo: https://github.com/Orkas-AI/Orkas.
