About

MCP through the shell, without the context bloat

Connect once (mcpc connect mcp.apify.com @apify) and keep persistent sessions to several servers in parallel, then list tools, read schemas and call them (mcpc @apify tools-call search-actors keywords:="website crawler"). It covers tools, resources, prompts, async tasks, skills, notifications and logging over stdio and Streamable HTTP, with full OAuth 2.1 and credentials stored in the OS keychain. Agents can explore a server in tool calling mode, then write shell scripts in code mode, and --schema checks catch breaking tool changes in CI. A proxy mode keeps credentials away from AI-generated code, and the same sessions and logins are shared by every agent on the machine. It never calls an LLM on its own. x402 payments on Base are experimental. Made by Apify (@apify), about 1k GitHub stars.
